As Headteacher, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St. Peter’s Church of England Primary School. The aim of the site is to give all our visitors a real sense of our school.
St. Peter’s is a very happy school with enthusiastic children and a thoroughly professional and dedicated team of staff. Our community of children, staff, parents and governors value the importance of a caring community that enables achievement for all. We believe in fostering a lifelong love of learning for everyone and seek to instil in the children of our school, an understanding of themselves as learners. We believe that this self-awareness will best equip them for their future. We aim to encourage and inspire lifelong learning and help everyone to learn how to learn.
We take pride in the relationships we build with the families of St. Peter’s. The Christian values, which are at the forefront of our teaching, permeate throughout school life. We aim to encourage strong relationships with our parents as we recognise the importance of their roles as co-educators. This partnership with parents and the wider community enables us to offer many opportunities for the development of the whole child, developing personally and academically, whilst encouraging a lifestyle which is based on Christian values and teaching.
If you would like to find out more information about our school or come and have a look around, please contact the school office to arrange a visit.
I look forward to meeting you and your family and would like to thank you for your continued commitment and support towards the children and staff of this school.

This week 56AB have been learning how to reinforce our Early Islamic Shelters. We investigated the strength of different pillar designs by counting how many bibles we could stack on top before collapse, comparing 3D shapes with and without reinforcement.🙌🏻 #teamwork #petersvalues
This half term, we have been focusing on our #petersvalue of #respect. The children have shown such maturity, understanding and empathy towards the subject of respect and we all enjoyed creating some artistic pieces for our corridor display. https://t.co/oThsDnROnN
