Foundation 2 visited Museum of Science and Industry on the 10th November. All the children were very excited to travel on the coach and enjoyed playing games such as ‘I spy’ and ‘On my journey I can see…..’
When we arrived we had our milk and fruit and familiarised ourselves with the museum. We then set off in our class groups to explore.
All children thoroughly enjoyed getting 'hands on' in the experimental area. Here they were able to explore a range of scientific concepts and were encouraged to comment on the similarities, differences, the patterns and changes they experienced.
We visited the Air and Space warehouse and the children spent time considering how transport was different in the past, looking at a range of different aircraft and cars.
After lunch we took part in the ‘Inventors wanted’ show which was based upon basic engineering concepts and celebrating creativity and invention.
All the children were very well behaved and were a credit to our school. We were very proud of them all.
