Y3/4 visit Weaver Hall Museum

5th March 2019
Y3/4 visited Weaver Hall Museum in Northwich on 27th and 28th February to learn more about the Stone Age and Bronze Age.   It was a very busy and interactive day: we made clay pots, learnt how to make string using nettles, practised a bit of archery, sampled salt rock from 4500BC, ground wheat and even handled Bronze Age tools and weapons.  The children were fantastic, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we all learnt a lot - adults included!
