At St Peter’s Early Years, we are able to offer all 3 and 4-year-old children their entitled Universal 15 hours per week free childcare (38 weeks per year). This takes effect the term after their 3rd birthday. We can provide all prospective parents with the relevant paperwork to apply for this.
In addition, we are pleased to be able to offer the extended 15 hours per week free childcare, subject to eligibility. This could mean your child is eligible for 30 hours funding. We are also pleased to be able to offer the expanded 15 hours funding of two year olds of working parents.

If you are eligible for 30 hours funding or the Expanded 15 hours, it is important that you apply for a code the term before you wish to start claiming. The recommended dates are:

TAX-FREE CHILDCARE
We are registered to accept payments for fees via the Tax-free Childcare Service. For every £8 you pay, the Government will pay £2. This is paid via an online childcare account that you will need to set up. You can get Tax-Free Childcare at the same time as 30 hours free childcare if you are eligible for both. PLEASE NOTE
Should your child be eligible for either the 15 or 30 hours funding and attends full days (morning and afternoon session) there will be an additional fee for lunchtime cover. (45 mins) if all funding has been used on sessions. This is £5.50 per day. This will be charged via an invoice at the beginning of each term.
Parents are very welcome to collect their child, at 11:45am and return them again at 12:30pm, should they wish their child to not attend for the 45 minute lunchtime. Should you require any further information or clarification please do not hesitate to contact school.
