In the summer of 2021 we instructed the help of Pentagon Play to transform our outdoor learning classroom into an all weather AMAZING space where children are able to develop all three characteristics of effective teaching and learning. This fabulous addition to our provision allows our children to play and explore, investigate and experience things, and have a go. It promotes active learning where children have the space to concentrate and keep on trying if they encounter difficulties and enjoy achievements. Children are provided with the time to use the space to have and develop their own ideas, make links between ideas and develop strategies for doing things.
Our children are provided with continuous daily access to this provision where they can spend time with their peers supported by our fully trained teaching staff.
