At St Peter’s CE Primary school we strive to teach children to speak and write fluently so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others and, through their reading and listening, others can communicate with them. Our English curriculum from Years 1 - 6 encompasses the three areas of Writing, Reading and Spoken Language. Alongside these children are taught Spelling and Phonics, Punctuation and Grammar form an integral part of the English Curriculum.
